An Ethiopian AEC technology company. We measure buildings for a living, and we wrote the software that does the measuring.
Who we are
Paras Partners PLC provides quantity takeoff and BOQ services for contractors, QS firms and developers — in Ethiopia and internationally.
The company was founded by Hagos Aman. The technical side is led in-house, and the combination it needs barely exists here: Revit API development in C#, Python automation, AI tooling (MCP servers for Claude and Cursor), and the QS domain knowledge that makes any of it worth anything — Ethiopian construction conventions and local cost data that cannot be vibe-coded or copied from GitHub.
We are the company behind Paracore, an open-source dynamic C# scripting platform for Revit. Paracore lets you run C# live inside Revit with no project files, no compilation and no boilerplate, and build parameterised automation tools on top of it. It is MIT licensed and freely available on GitHub.
The platform is free. We earn from the work done with it — the takeoff, the BOQ and the training.

Paracore is free and MIT licensed — install it and automate your own work. We earn from the takeoff, the BOQ and the training we deliver on top of it.
The ecosystem
The platform is those three repositories — nothing more, nothing less. Everything else in the stack is how we deliver the work, and it stays ours.
Paracore, paracore-gen and paracore-help are MIT licensed on GitHub — clone them, read them, learn the pattern.
Everything else is the work we sell. paracore-takeoff is the complete takeoff and BOQ — every section, from a fully modelled building — and ParasConcrete, ParasMasonry, ParasPlaster, ParasPaint and ParasAluminum are single sections of it, for a client who needs one trade measured. We wrote the platform and sell the expertise; the other way round never works here.
